Reading out loud is a very good way to practice building the muscles in your mouth when learning to pronounce a new language. Here you can find a great selection of ebooks (real books in pdf file) to download and read or print out to read later.

Flash Demonstration on Pronouncing American Sounds
There is a very nice flash presentation from the University of Iowa that will show you how each sound is produced in the mouth. It’s very helpful to know exactly where sounds are produced.

Broken English (slowed-down) Words and Phrases
Often when we learn another language as teenagers or adults, we don't recognize their sounds as they really are. We substitute them with similar sounds from our own language. By breaking them down into very small chunks, you will be able to hear them more easily and make adjustments to your own speech.
